Firstly, with such a pun-inviting name like Seoul, it's near impossible NOT to fully utilise it. I love a good pun when I see one.
Secondly, the main purpose of my trip to Seoul is not so much to study (though it ranks high up there in my list of priorities), but to take a break from ... most things in Singapore. And as you can see from the title, I figure I might just get into a whole slew of shenanigans here.
And finally, I really like the Joker from The Dark Knight.

Here I shall endeavour to chronicle my 3 months in Seoul as a student. Every week day I am in school from 9am to 1pm, and after that I'm pretty much left to my own devices since I'm alone in the Land of the Morning Calm. There are a few things I really want to do, and shall try to do while I'm here:
1. go to a 찜질방 (jjimjilbang, a public bathhouse) - this is something I wanted to do when I was here the last time in Sept 2012 but never had the chance to.
2. get a haircut just before I leave Seoul in Sept 2013 - no dyeing, no perming though. Just a haircut.
3. get out of Seoul and go to another province for the weekend
4. try 산낙지 (sannakji - live chopped-up octopus) - uh maybe not. We'll see.
5. catch Big Baby Driver live - she's an indie-folk-pop singer and I really like her voice! Check her out here:
I'll add on to this list when I get ideas.
